CLOSED: Empty cups at Short North Coffee House
The last pots have been brewed and the last coffee poured at the Short North Coffee House. The java joint closed its doors this week. An increase in rent is rumored to be the cause of closure. Word is that the owners would like to reopen elsewhere and are not looking at this as the end of the line. A move to the former Milk Bar Boutique location just down the street is said to be in the works though nothing is confirmed just yet. (jj)
