Fusian: Sushi shop opens today in Grandview

There aren’t many ways better to start the week than with the opening of a new sushi place. Today’s your lucky day, Grandview.

With locations already at Easton and on the Ohio State campus, Fusian opens its third Central Ohio eatery today (855 West 5th Avenue in Grandview). On the the south side of 5th Avenue, just a few steps away from Jimmy John’s, the latest Fusian opens its doors on Monday. This marks the 9th store in the restaurant chain with other locations in the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Store number 10 is planned for Clintonville.

According to Fusian, they’re not just in the business to serve sushi, but to educate. It starts with rice, they say. From there, the possibilities begin. Customers first select their rice and then choose from options including various proteins, veggies and toppings. Expect to find fresh ingredients sourced from local and regional suppliers. The 5 year-old company says that they represent food and community. And as of today, that community includes Grandview.
