First test tonight for new CBJ head coach
In a Wednesday press conference, new Blue Jackets head coach John Tortorella said that he “can’t wait to get going.” Good thing…the club plays its first game under the new chief tonight.
The CBJ are on the road to take on the Minnesota Wild. The Wild have lost two straight and, of course, we all know about the Jackets….winless in the first seven games of the season. Even with the roughest of starts, Tortorella sees the potential for the Jackets to pull the season out of the fire. From Wednesday’s press conference:
It’s not reinventing the wheel – I’m not here to do that. We just want to get back to who we are and go about our business that way. We need to take this day-by-day, meeting by meeting, practice by practice. As quickly as it’s gone with lack of confidence and it’s gone south a little bit, you can get that quickly back and get the ball rolling the other way.
– John Tortorella, CBJ head coach
The Blue Jackets vs the Wild tonight with a puck drop at 8pm ET. (jj)
