From donut yoga to 5K beer runs, here are some of Columbus’ most unique ways to stay in shape with FIT Week ahead

From donut yoga to 5K beer runs, here are the most unique ways to stay in shape in honor of FIT Week.

From april 17-22, FIT Week will return to Columbus. Featuring a variety of fitness-related events and activities from across the city, FIT Week is fun, engaging, community-oriented way to stay healthy and active.

FIT Week passes, which give you discounts at 30 local spots in addition to access to the official FIT Week Kickoff Party on April 17, can be purchased here. The party, which will be held from 6-8 p.m. at gravity, will feature five different mini-workouts from participating vendors, so you can get a taste of what’s to come.

And in honor the week, we’ve put together a list of some of truly unique ways to stay in shape, during FIT Week and beyond.

Editor’s note: Many of the events below are not FIT Week activities.

2nd Annual Donut Yoga

Rose Dough Donuts is returning its popular Donut Yoga series this year. Held on both May 13 and Aug. 26, the event features a new, exclusive Rose Dough donut, an hour of Yoga from instructor LeeAnna Shepherd and plenty of Crimson Cup Coffee.

Peach Haus Sneak Peek

Billed as Ohio’s first glute-inspired gym, the Peach Haus won’t officially open its doors until next month. Part of your FIT Week pass, however, can grant you early access to the unique new gym concept.

Beer Run!

One of our favorite ways to relax after a workout is a local craft beer, and a new event from Parson’s North that’s redefining the term beer run will offer both a solid workout and quality brews. On June 3, the Ohio Brewery Running Series will hold a 5K fun run that ends at the brewery. Did we mention a free beer is included with sign-up?

Goat Yoga

Move aside, dog yoga. Goat yoga is here. Bern Yoga will be hosting a yoga series at Harrison Farm in Groveport. The event, which is offered between May-October, is beginner friendly, we imagine because goats aren’t very flexible.
