Former OSU students charged with conspiracy to help Al-Qaeda

The Justice Department has brought indictments against four men (including three former Ohio State students) alleging that they conspired as part of an effort to support violence against U.S. military personnel.
Farooq Mohammad, Asif Salim and Sultane Salim were students at OSU in the late 90s and early 2000s and are among the group of four now facing charges. The group is accused of conspiring to provide financial and other assistance to Al-Qaeda leadership between 2005 and 2012. Resources provided by the group was to aid in generating violence against Americans and American troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and elsewhere around the world. (jj)
