The Scioto Downs is hosting a free inflatables race, and you’re invited to participate

That inflatable sumo wrestling costume you wore at your friends’ early 2000’s Halloween party might come in handy.

On August 12th, The Scioto Downs, at 6000 S. High St., is hosting a free inflatable costume race on their famous track. Their Facebook event mentions that the winner gets “bragging rights as well as gift cards to The Brew Brothers!”

1.8 thousand Facebook users are “interested” in the event, with 67 guests claiming they’re going. 

Here are the posted rules:

*All ages are welcome, participants under 18 years old must have a parent/guardian present for entry

*Participants MUST bring their own inflatable costume to participate (please make sure your inflatable costume is family-friendly)

*Participants will race 100ft on our track in between harness races

*Registration begins at 5:30pm, race assignment will be given at later date

Personally, watching an inflatable T-Rex race a chicken sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday night.
