Thirty-one gifts had a massive blowout conference in Columbus recently, and apparently they loved it so much, they are coming back again not once, but twice, Columbus Business First reported. The company plans to host another 3-day conference next July and it also plans to move the Canadian conference from Niagara Falls to Columbus.

Thirty-One Gifts Convention Kicks off with force

Some conventions start with speeches and meetings. The Thirty-One Gifts convention in Columbus started off with confetti, unicorns and the overarching knowledge that everyone there liked hugs. “We’re all really passionate — and we love to hug,” said Cindy Monroe, the company’s founder at the convention, the Dispatch reported. Of course, applause and rumblings broke out across Nationwide Arena. The Columbus-based direct sales company brought many of its sellers to the arena for the convention. Through all of those sellers, Thiry-One Gifts hosted about a million parties. During the convention, the sales consultants have been encouraged to pay it forward with acts around the city like purchasing a strangers coffee or filling someone’s parking meter.

Thirty-One Gifts will be hosting a convention in Columbus, bringing in roughly 15,000 people, according to Columbus Business First. The company, a direct-sales business where people can sign up and become a sales consultant, is encouraging its workers to say thank you by paying it forward. As the city is flooded over the weekend for the convention, the sales consultants will buy stranger’s coffee, parking (or parking tickets), and of course like any good campaign the deeds will be done with a hashtag (#Share31) and sticker. A helpful marketing plan two for one deal.
