Kendrick Lamar crashes Columbus wedding, guest tries to ‘kill his vibe’
Rapper Kendrick Lamar played a big show at the LC a few weeks ago. Afterwards, the performer and his crew found themselves at a local hotel where they walked into a hall that was holding a wedding reception. (Picture strobe lights and the sounds of Whitney Houston and Eddie Money drawing people to the dance floor.)
As Lamar worked his way into the scene, one of the party’s invited guests got in the face of one Kendrick’s cohorts. The angry guest told the group that they weren’t supposed to be there…demanding that they tell him ‘who got married, who got married!?!’ When Lamar’s group couldn’t provide the name of the bride and groom, the angry man told them to ‘get the f— out!’
A short time later, another guest at the party…someone with apparently a broader knowledge of current music…recognized Kendrick Lamar and smoothed out the situation.
