Recap: Blue Jackets give St. Louis something to feel Saad about

Tuesday night, judging from the box score, the Blue Jackets felt like spreading it around.

The CBJ scored one goal each in periods one, two and three. Cody Goloubef got things rolling for Columbus in the first period with his first goal of the year. Brandon Saad found the back of the net twice with scores in the second and third periods to bring his total to nine goals for the season. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 19 of 20 shots as the Blue Jackets beat the St. Louis Blues, 3 – 1.

The next action for Columbus will happen Thursday night in Ottawa with the CBJ visiting the Senators.  (jj)
