Saturday many planned to head out and get a little bit dirty in a mud volleyball tournament. While the activity sounds like it could have been cooked up by a frat house, in actuality it has become a fun way to raise money for Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Cincinnati and Columbus and some years it has brought in about 3,000 people to Grove City. But as the muddy courts were being bulldozed for the event, metal shards and debris were found in the courts, eliminating the chance to raise thousands of dollars (usually around $65,000), according to the Dispatch. Team captains are getting refunds, but the shirts are still available for all who had planned to participate.
