Downtown pizzeria appears to have shuttered last remaining Ohio location
About a decade ago, a popular pizza chain known for their country-style pies opened a location at 17 S. High St., serving margherita pizzas in a casual setting to the Downtown crowd.
Now, Pizza Rustica appears to have permanently closed.

No one is in the shop, Google has marked it as “permanently closed,” and the pizzeria has been taken off of local food delivery apps. A spokesperson couldn’t be reached for commentary, but 614Now did contact a manager at their Florida shop who wasn’t sure exactly why they closed.
There are six other Pizza Rustica locations – 4 in Florida, and 2 more in Paris, France. A Pizza Rustica in Columbus’ Gateway closed back in 2015, shortly after opening this Downtown location.
It’s worth noting that Huntington Bank is selling the South High Street building that Pizza Rustica resided in.
