CVS closing another Columbus store this month

In 2022, a S. High St. CVS store closed their doors. Two years later, another convenience store is closing this month.

CVS’ 1634 Neil Ave. location doors display a sign reading, “Our store is closing,” with a posted closing date of April 20th. They wrote “We are not relocating” on the door as well.

The company announced in November 2021 that they’d be closing over 900 locations by 2024, citing a decline in sales and an increase in online shopping vs. frequenting the stores. There are still about 9,000 other CVS locations, and 73 locations in central Ohio.
