In September, we told you about the abrupt closure of Central Ohio’s 3 Smashburger locations. The closings were reportedly due in large part to issues between the Ohio Department of Taxation and the local franchise owner. It now appears that fans of the food joints, will soon get their burgers back.
The three shuttered locations (Gahanna, Westerville, Lewis Center) will reopen under corporate ownership in the next few weeks. And the company has a goal to open as many as five additional restaurants in the area.
