After serving less than 17 months on a five-year sentence for 13 counts of sexual misconduct with high school students, Anthony Miller, former band director at Newark High, is set to be released. In an attempt to block his release, prosecutors said serving such little time minimizes the seriousness of his crimes, which included sexual battery and sexual imposition.
