Study finds Ohio city the second ‘most charming small town’ in the USA; two other Ohio cities in top 10

Sure, there are the giant cities around our nation outlined with skyscrapers, but those quintessential small towns have their own type of unique charm.

A small town right here in Ohio is gaining some notoriety for their quaint Downtown that preserved in time, boasting vintage storefronts and museums. Nope – it’s not a suburb of Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati, either – it’s its own city, and a study is finding it to be one of the most charming places in America.

That’s right – Zanesville, Ohio, has officially been ranked the second “Most Charming Small Town” in the U.S.A., and the fourth most charming town in both Canada and the U.S. Betway, an online casino, analyzed a variety of metrics to come to this conclusion, such as the number of landmarks, museums, parks, and more.

Betway said that Zanesville came in second place due to their six museums, and offering the second most landmarks and art galleries. “Visit the Zanesville Museum of Art, which includes collections from all over the world, including Africa, Asia, and Europe. Additionally, the Alpacas of Spring Acres is worth a visit – it’s the largest alpaca farm in Southeastern Ohio, and you can learn how to care for alpacas there,” said Betway.

A beloved Zanesville spot

Zanesville lost the #1 spot to Decatur, Georgia. Two other Ohio cities made it on the top 10! Here are the final results:
