Following last month’s E. Coli outbreak that forced Chipotle stores to close for a few days, the burrito chain closed all stores across the country for lunch today to have food safety meetings. That means that millions of people were denied their cravings for burritos the size of their heads.
However, there’s a silver lining: Chipotle is giving away free burritos today by way of apology.
All you have to do is text “raincheck” to 888-222 by 6 p.m. tonight and enter your name and zip code to receive a coupon for a free burrito delivered to your phone “in a few days.”
