Columbus native, ex-bachelor contestant found dead after apparent suicide

Lex McAllister, a Columbus native and a contestant on season 14 of The Bachelor has died in what appears to be a suicide.

Columbus law enforcement officials said on Saturday that they received a 911 call saying that McAllister had overdosed on prescription pills.

She was taken to the hospital, where her family decided to take her off life support Tuesday morning.

A member of McAllister’s family told TMZ that she struggled with depression and bipolar disorder.
