Schwarzenegger endorses Kasich, calls him ‘action hero’
Bodybuilder and former California Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed John Kasich yesterday at a Columbus rally, calling the Ohio Governor an “action hero,” and saying he “kicked serious butt in Washington.”
The endorsement comes at the end of the Arnold Sports Festival weekend, and the week before Ohio’s March 15 primary election.
Governor Kasich maintains that he can win the presidency, despite not having won a primary contest yet. As of now, he hopes that he can win Ohio in an effort to secure his home state and stop Donald Trump by causing a brokered convention when the time to nominate comes around.
