Columbus recently approved its part of a national bike route that will cut through Ohio and the capital city. The path will be 313 miles long and stretch from Washington, D.C. to San Francisco, and Ohio will play its part by connecting Steubenville to the Indiana border. The trail will also utilize the Olentangy, Alum Creek and Camp Chase trails that are already existing in the city, according to the Dispatch. Once the massive bike project is finished, hipsters across the city will celebrate and suburban, rural and city areas will be connected by the trail.
