Weekend highlight: Park Street Fest

Bodies, bros, babes, music, and more bodies.

Such is the atmosphere of Park Street Fest, the music festival that conquers its eponymous thoroughfare with loud sounds, dirty dancing and sheer numbers.

Musical entertainment comes from Columbus acts with an emphasis on danceability, including the wild, 80’s-inspired sounds of Damn The Witch Siren, the prodigal dance-pop of Captain Kidd, the funked-out beats of G. Finesse & Black Eagle, and the silvery pop sheen of Kid Runner.

Whether you intend to find a high perch and people watch or get down in the fray, Park Street Fest is an easy pick for this week’s Weekend Highlight.

Admission to the madness is free, but expect parking to be a hassle–consider taking a taxi or an Uber.

But if you are thinking of driving, keep in mind that there’s a DUI checkpoint Friday night.
