Trump’s recent spat with the Columbus Fire Department has led to a lot of Columbus, Ohio Trump supporters feeling targeted after Trump insisted that many had been turned away for “political reasons.”
As it turns out, the reason for people being turned away was because it was the agreed upon size from the all parties involved. Trump also received a $1,500 discount for the current renovations happening at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.
Trump insisted that the fire marshall was, “given orders — no more than a thousand people … we could have had four, five, six thousand people … that’s politics at its lowest,” said Trump, soon after asked the audience, “Is the mayor a Democrat?”
