Cbus principle’s hearing begins for role in data scrubbing

Monday the hearing began for the former principle at Linden-McKinley STEM Academy, Tiffany L. Chavers, but the hearing could drag on through the week with a possible 40 witnesses on deck to testify, the Dispatch reported. In the opening statements, the district’s lawyer said she changed 1 in 10 students’ grades and enrolled and disenrolled students even if they had not left, the paper reported. The district also said she directed others do falsify data as well.
