Hockey fans demand Perani’s Hockey World to open
Perani’s Hockey World wasn’t supposed to open Friday, but it opened up its doors and let shoppers come in for an informal soft opening after the calls for it to open wouldn’t stop. There were boxes still waiting to be unpacked and there wasn’t even a sign at the Polaris store, but hockey fans came nonetheless. “We finally told them, ‘If you want to come in an shop our boxes, we’re open.’” VP Mike Sander told Columbus Business First. The store still isn’t 100 percent unpacked and ready to go, but they rolled with the customers’ requests, he said.
