Huntington Bank is looking to make a big investment into Columbus proper with a new $18 million office space on Cleveland Avenue.
The building will occupy a former Meijer grocery store and is part of a pledge to hire 1,000 new workers and generate $300 million in loans for low-to moderate-income communities.
This proposed plan is set to finish by 2024, and will be a major boost to their tech ops. Columbus is excited about the boost it’ll bring to Northland and Linden neighborhoods and with the support of Mayor Ginther — Huntington is look strong going into the next few years.
Their new offices will be more modern than your typical office job, with open floors, unassigned seating and a fitness room according to The Dispatch.
