OSU Makes a Killing in Beer Sales During First Year

Surprising no one, OSU made the right decision selling beer at their games and have reportedly netted a cool $1.1 million during the 2016 home season, which averages about $137,000 for their games.
The season closing game with University of Michigan netted a bit more on average (again, no surprise that game was crazy) with $157,142.
For a bit of comparison — University of Texas at Austin made $1.1 million in just two games (they’re selling more than just beer), but regardless we’ve got some drinking to do considering the money is being used to help with security costs.
