From (614) Magazine’s Inside the Parentheses:
Poetry and food should be complementary philosophies—two seemingly different art forms that often harmonize together as one. One Short North staple, Haiku Poetry Food and Art, recognized the congruous nature of food and words. Tomorrow, that Columbus favorite is closing their doors. So, we spent a day coming up with stupid Haikus as a way to pay tribute to a classic:
wrapped up in seaweed
are memories of raw fish.
take a bow, Haiku18 years is nil,
in the grand scheme of the world,
But there were our homeonly patio
that had the fish underfoot
and on the table
Do you have any haikus for Haiku? Sound off in the comments.
