There’s a New Sheriff in Town, Literally

With the start of the new year comes the start of a new era at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Dallas Baldwin takes over the Sheriff’s position as unseated Sheriff Zach Scott is voted out of office from November’s elections.

Baldwin told 10tv that while he won’t be making major changes he will follow through on initiatives such as:

• More involvement from the deputy and administrative level
• More attendance in public meetings
• Involving the public with planning on addressing issues in the community
