The Columbus Metropolitan Library has released the proposed concepts from Moody Nolan for the new MLK branch, that’ll sit past the King-Lincoln District near East Long & Taylor Avenue.
“The new MLK Branch will be double the size of the current branch to reflect the growing needs of the community.” CML wrote in their release.
The new MLK branch will have 18,000 square feet of space as opposed to its current 8,933 sq. footage. This expansion and redesign will also include more parking, more computers, a larger homework center, dedicated kindergarten area and larger gathering space for communities.
More information is set to be released on their information page, here.
