Kasich leading polls with older voters
Governor John Kasich is leading the polls against democratic opponent Ed FitzGerald in people over 50 years old. The poll shows the incumbent with 50 percent whereas FitzGerald has about 35 percent with voters over 50. Not shockingly, Kasich is also leading republican votes, but also has a slight leg up with women voters against FitzGerald (granted the poll was taken before the not-so-becoming news of FitzGerald getting lost without a permanent license and being found in a car with a woman who was not his wife). FitzGerald though is up with African American voters 71 percent to four, according to 10TV.
