Columbus Gas is planning to create a pipeline that would connect Appalachia gas to the Midwest and Gulf Coast, Columbus Business First reported, the project is going to cost upwards of $1.75 billion. Worth it? The pipeline would be transporting more than a billion cubic feed of natural gas a day. The Utica (part of the Appalachian Basin) is no stranger to development or new projects as it seems every other day one company or another is announcing it has big plans for the Utica.
