Get to the liquor store, NOW
You know it’s going to be a good night when even the liquor is drunk. Bombay Sapphire is recalling it’s gin because it contains almost DOUBLE the amount of alcohol content it should. Did someone carrying jugs of straight alcohol just fall into a vat of distilling gin?!
Well actually, one batch of Bombay’s London Dry Gin was bottled before it had been distilled down to 40%. So it went out the door weighing in at a whopping 77% alcohol content according to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
Here’s what you should be looking for: London Dry Gin 1.14-liter bottles with the product code L16304 W and the UPC 6 20213 19020 8. They’re investigating the possibility that this same problem occurred with their other liquors. So, while you’re at the store, do yourself a favor and snag a bottle of every Bombay product.
We know it’s Cinco de Mayo and you may be tempted to drink tequila but don’t waste your time. Snag a bottle of Bombay Sapphire today to get drunk twice as fast for half as much. Cheers!
