C-bus Anhueser-Busch brewery getting big chunk of change

The lovely Bud Light and Budweiser towers alongside I-71 will soon be rolling in dough thanks to Anheuser-Busch. The Belgium-based company is investing $7 million into the Columbus brewery.

The money will go towards upgrades to the building, increasing sustainability, investmenting towards new products, as well as a new state-of-the-art distribution facility. The new facility will be about 30 miles away from the actual brewery but a specific location was not disclosed. It will employ 25 people and is expected to be up and running by December.

Bud Light is the most-sold beer in Ohio so we’d say this is a pretty smart investment.
