Simply Rolled ice cream rolls into permanent location
Simply Rolled Ice Cream now has a permanent home in the cafe area of Oats & Barley Market in the Short North.
If you aren’t familiar with the Thailand-inspired ice cream, #1, you’re way behind the times and #2, it’s awesome. How it works is they mix up the ice cream ingredients (locally-sourced, non-gmo, hormone-free, grass-grazed) in a shaker bottle then pour out the mixture onto a super cold, flat, metal surface. As the liquid begins to freeze, a Simply Rolled ice cream craftsman will scoop, scrape, and reconfigure the concoction, ultimately rolling the firmed-up ice cream into several spiral logs. During the process, whatever toppings (20 options) you’ve chosen to add to your mixture will be sprinkled in.
