North Market ups the ante with new artisan cheese vendor
North Market Cheese did a little wardrobe change and is now open for business as Black Radish Creamery in the North Market. Their selection will feature international cheese varieties as well as creamy goodness from regional farms among an array of fruit butters, jellies, and jams.
Ty Pennington must have waved his magic wand over their space because it looks fantastic.
“We are so pleased to have ‘best in class,'” states North Market Executive Director Rick Harrison Wolfe. “Their new space is exquisite and the vast selection of artisanal cheeses and foods are peerless in this city.”
Here are two before and after photos (after pics on top):
New to the BRC rotation will be a lunch menu featuring artisan grilled cheese sandwiches, seasonally inspired soup, and a cheese-lover’s fantasy; raclette.

Instead of a ribbon cutting, BRC will be cracking open a wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano on June 2nd to celebrate their grand opening. As if cheese isn’t enough, they’ll be drawings throughout the evening for local and regionally produced goodie-filled gift baskets. Check out the event here.
You can also find Black Radish Creamery cheese in Weiland’s Market, the Market Italian Village, Lucky’s, and Hill’s Market.
