HCT Clintonville closed due to “significant malfunctions”
On Sunday, the Clintonville location of Hot Chicken Takeover closed because of a “significant malfunction.” Were the pickle chips not pickled enough? Were the spices not spicy enough? Were the chickens not chicken-y enough? We aren’t sure exactly but we do know that they are working diligently to reopen today. We also know that the problem was contained to the Clintonville store– the North Market restaurant will operate as normal.
They posted a very sincere message on their Facebook page to report the bad news. It would’ve been easy for the people of Columbus to come at HCT with nasty comments– after all, they are being deprived of delicious chicken, if only for a little while. But instead, peoples’ reactions were pretty much exclusively understanding and supportive.
Keep chicking.. We mean checking 614NOW as more on this *hot* story develops.
