#Eat614 On Tap: Actual Brewing presents ComFest libation
This year marks 45 years of the Columbus Community Festival bringing together everyone– babies, grandmas, hippies, topless people, beer drinkers, musicians, artists, and every type in between. Forty-five years, that’s going to be cause for a big celebration. You’re going to need a good, solid companion by yourself during the festivities, huh?
And what better steed than a brew made by our very own Actual Brewing. What we’re talking about is ComFest American Wheat. You guessed it, it’s brewed specifically for ComFest. You guessed it again, it’s a wheat ale. The brew is in collaboration with Ram.
The beer will probably only come in draft form and is available at the Actual taproom now for a limited time only.
Drink up, folks, because a $1 of each pint goes towards our local community.
“Every pint you drink makes Columbus a little stronger,” Actual Brewing posted on their Facebook page
Like everything else in the universe, there’s been a Reddit thread started in the beer’s honor. People have a lot to say about the beer, including some question about why a chain brewery (Ram) is involved in a festival focused on the community of Columbus. Check it out to see what people think the brew should be called.
