State fair ride malfunction: No criminal charges filed
No charges will be filed in the Ohio State Fair ride malfunction case.
After reviewing the evidence presented by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Franklin County Prosecutor concluded there wasn’t enough to proceed with a case, reports The Dispatch.
Tyler Jarrell, 18, of Reynoldsburg was killed when a ride called Fire Ball broke apart at the Ohio State Fair.
