Thieves fishing in USPS mailboxes for your checks

Money-hungry thieves know to peep inside personal mailboxes when they see that red flag raised, indicating outgoing mail and hopefully for their fraudulent gain, your checks. But now, not only is the mail in your personal mailbox in jeopardy, but also the mail you slip into public USPS boxes.

10tv spoke with a Clintonville woman who had her mail stolen from a USPS drop box at 2804 North High Street. They also discovered that there were five other similar reports since August. The area getting majorly hit is the USPS on Henderson Road and High Street.
