Woman allegedly raped at Schottenstein Center concert

The nationally touring rapper, The Weeknd, played the Schottenstein Center on September 19. That same night, two crew members were accused of raping a woman backstage after the show, reports Billboard.

The woman reported it to the police at the Ohio State University station. TMZ’s sources say The Weeknd had already left the venue which only leaves the temporarily employees on tour.

The Weeknd’s management released the following statement:

“Upon learning of the accusations that two members of our tour staff are facing, we immediately terminated their employment. We are working with the authorities to ensure they have access to any information or assistance they may need.”

Police continue to investigate.
