Zoo Wildlights opening Friday means 2 things…

Every year, people flock—and we really mean flock— to see the lights display at the Columbus Zoo. This year, we assure it will be no different.

So this Friday, November 17, here are two things you need to know about the opening of Wildlights…

1)

This is your opportunity to take in the blindingly bright LEDs for free. Each guest who brings five non-perishable food items to the Zoo will receive one free admission. Got a party of five? Give that Subaru a workout by packing in 25 canned goods. Don’t forget the extra SpaghettiOs for free parking. This offer is good Friday only between 5 and 10pm.

More importantly, all of Powell will be a complete traffic gridlock. If you plan to attend, you should also plan on taking a half day off work and yanking the kids out of school after lunch to get there on time. Oh, and don’t forget to really gas up the Subaru because the line in and out of the Zoo has potential to be real fierce.
