Pumpkin-headed deer looks to have shed costume
Great news, everybody, the deer that’s been stumbling around the Upper Arlington area with a plastic pumpkin bucket stuck on its head is believed to be free.
10TV reports a UA resident found a plastic pumpkin by a deer feeder, leading him to believe the aforementioned deer had finally shed his costume.
A resident of Columbus near Henderson and Chevy Chase called to say that he found a pumpkin bucket by his deer feeder this morning. It is likely that the deer who has been the source of so much attention has shed his bulbous, orange muzzle.

A state wildlife officer went to the scene and deduced the pumpkin bucket found was of similar size and had similar dents as the one seen on the deer’s head in the photographs. And, of course, there’s the fact that there was deer hair inside.
However, the officer still wants the community to stay alert in case the bucket was placed as a prank.
