Parent Anna Thomas took her son into Nationwide Children’s for a possible dislocated hip, but when a doctor found that her 3-month old had a fractured thigh bone Anna and her husband Daniel were investigated for child abuse, and were later cleared. But the night Anna took her 3-month-old son in, he and his brother who is 2 years old had full body x-rays to check for old fractures, the Dispatch reported. Anna is upset about the possible side-effects of the radiation from the x-rays. The lawsuit she has filed has said she and her sons suffered from emotional distress and her children now have an increased risk for cancer because of the radiation, the paper reported.
