Scholarship being created for Dublin Coffman sophomore who died unexpectedly
A GoFundMe has been set up to create a scholarship in honor of the Dublin Coffman high schooler who died suddenly.
Andrew Morales lost consciousness during a band practice on March 5 and was taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital where they tried to revive him but were unsuccessful.
This Week News reports Morales was quiet and very determined to his music.

Donations made to the GoFundMe will go towards a scholarship to be awarded to a student with a 3.75+ GPA pursuing a music degree at a university.
This scholarship will embody Morales’ commitment and love for marching band and academics.
So far, about $1,500 has been raised with a total goal of $10,000.
