Local 8th grader hauled in for making school shooting threats

A middle schooler from Newark has been arrested after admitting to making threats. Staff at Liberty Middle School told police, per 10TV, an 8th grader made comments to classmates about shooting other students.

The suspect’s parents brought the student to the Newark Police station for questioning where they were placed under arrest and charged with making terroristic threats.
