La Tavola owner opening old world tapas restaurant very soon
From the founder of La Tavola, the old world Italian restaurant, comes a brand new venture sure to take Upper Arlington and the rest of the city by storm. Lupo on Arlington is a tapas bar with influences from Spain, Italy, and Portugal, slated to open in early April.
The owner and chef, Rick Lopez will be brining a menu full of pastas, seafood (cough cough oyster bar cough), and more ranging from full plates to bite-sized portions. The foods will pair with hand-picked wines, craft cocktails, or beer chosen specifically for Lupo.

Handmade old-world dishes, fresh ingredients, and creative flavors – matched with unique and unusual farm wines hand-picked to match” –Lupo website
The aesthetic of the restaurant will stay true to Lopez’s appreciation for the old world with vintage decor and custom pieces courtesy of CCAD students.
