Women’s Final Four dunking on Columbus this weekend
Columbus will have all lights on it this weekend, quite literally, as the Nationwide Arena District will make way for the NCAA Women’s Final Four.
While the competition may have eliminated our Buckeye women, that won’t stop the masses from swarming local businesses.
The Greater Columbus Sports Commission has selected four locations as “Fan Gathering” hubs: R bar, Three-Legged Mare, Gordon Biersch, and Boston’s. Tim Emery, owner of Boston’s, told 10TV that their restaurant has been preparing for this event for over six months.
This isn’t stopping other establishments from joining in on the fun. The final four website lists four “Tourney Journeys” for visitors to experience the best Columbus has to offer: Columbus Tour, Ohio State Experience , German Village Experience , and Worthington Tour. Short North and North Market are also featured on the site.
No doubt, traffic will be thick and not possible on Nationwide Blvd. from McConnell Blvd. to High St. For all things NCAA Women’s Final Four, click here.
