Two years ago, the Columbus Blue Jackets were hit with a record low amount of season ticket holders, but as of Monday, CBJ has rebounded and bounced back over the 10,000 mark for season ticket holders. That’s the first time the team has hit that mark since the 2009-10 season. “There’s still work to be done to get where we want to go, but the fans are excited and they want to be part of what’s happening,” said vice president of business operations Larry Hoepfner, according to the Dispatch, calling the sales a great accomplishment. The bolstered ticket sales could be in part because of the Blue Jackets making it into the Stanley Cup playoffs last season for the second time.
