Dinos wake from extinction at Columbus Zoo tomorrow

Hold on to your butts, Columbus, dinosaurs are back from extinction and will be roaming the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium beginning tomorrow, May 19.

More than 30 animatronic dinos will awaken on Dinosaur Island with urethane waterproof skin, the dinosaurs have eyes that shift and blink, tails that move, mouths that make loud noises and electronic “brains” that control their movements and sounds.

Travel 65 million years back in time to find and document these steel creatures and even get a glimpse of the king of dinos, the T-Rex!

Entrance to Dinosaur Island is not include with regular Zoo admission.

Admission to Dinosaur Island is $3 for general admission, $2 for Columbus Zoo members and free for Columbus Zoo Gold members, as well as included in the price of a Zoo-it-All ride wristband
