Mother shot after argument over shoes
While a woman was waiting in a car for her son, he confronted someone who he thought had stolen his shoes on Monday night. James Bowman, 28, said the man appeared to be wearing tennis shoes taken from his truck, but the man said he had bought the shoes from a drug addict. Police have said Bowman attempted to pay for the shoes, but the man walked away and Bowman went back to his car. As he was driving there were gunshots and his mother was hit in the shoulder and taken to a hospital for treatment.
