Drink614: Sideswipe Brewing + MojoFlo = boozy dance party this weekend

Brewery + brewery collaborations are a lot of fun to make and a lot of fun to drink. 

But what about brewery + band collabs?

Voted Columbus’s best band by (614) Magazine readers, MojoFlo has yet again linked up with Sideswipe Brewing to create a beer that embodies their funkiness.

Sideswipe’s MojoFlo is a hoppy amber ale. Amber, being the name of the band’s amazing lead singer and performer, and the beer being a smooth jam with a soulful kick.  

The band was thrilled with the effort last year, as Sideswipe didn’t leave a lot of room for improvement, though the brewing team will most certainly seize any opportunity to tighten up the recipe.

Last year’s incarnation was a hit, and this year the beer will reach a wider audience as Sideswipe will distribute six packs priced in the $10 range.

MojoFlo will be released at a kickoff party on July 21st at Sideswipe’s taproom at 2415 Scioto Harper Drive.

Mikey’s Late Night Slice will be on site with Mojoflo Funky Chicken slices, and MojoFlo will perform twice, at 3:30, and 7:30. Doors open at 2, and there’s no cover.
